1. Sleep Enough!

Lack of sleep causes tiredness and laziness.  The average adult requires 8 hours sleep per night. Concentration is key and without the right amount of sleep you will be unable to concentrate your full attention. Lack of sleep can also damage your physical health and cause drowsiness.

2. Take a daily walk

Even if its just a casual stroll to the shop, filling your lungs with fresh air can boost your energy and make you feel good. Why not make it fun and bring a group of pals with you? Walking is a great way to exercise and feel good about yourself! A daily walk will give you some thinking and breathing space.

 

3. Find a New Hobby

Pick up a new hobby with your family or friends! A new hobby will give you a sense of enjoyment and can relieve stress in your life.  Its also a great way to meet new friends who have similar interests to you.

4. Laughter is the best medicine

Don’t take life too seriously, be a glass half-full person. A positive, outgoing attitude can not only make other people happy but will give you a sense of happiness too. Have a good laugh everyday, it will give your mood a boost!

 

5. Practice Random Acts of Kindness

Something as simple as sending a text message to a friend you have not seen in a while can be defined as a random act of kindness. Kindness is good for both givers and receivers. By reaching out to someone else you will make both yourself and that person feel good.
